TOPCEL® add WA90

Description

TOPCEL® add WA90 is a bitumen free two-component cellulose fibre pellet with adhesion promoter, containing a proportional mix of:

90% cellulose fibre                                   (basic material: TECHNOCEL® 1004 loose fibre)

10% adhesion promoter

It is worldwide applied as bitumen carrier in Stone Mastic Asphalt (SMA), Porous Asphalt (PA), heavy duty binder courses, and bitumen rich asphalt mixtures.

Key applications

– all asphalts with high bitumen content, mainly SMA

– improved ageing properties of wearing courses and long life pavements

– bitumen modification directly during the asphalt mixing process

– circumstances committing the use of adhesion promoter as required by tenders or any other national road construction standards
